Let me tell you a little bit about me. My name is Mark Lile. I grew up in Wood River, Illinois, and I now live in Greenback, Tennessee. Years ago, I developed a love for writing, and I decided I wanted to use my writing to bring encouragement to others. My goal is to share some valuable lessons I have learned in life that I wish I had learned sooner.
Ben Franklin was once quoted as saying, “Life’s tragedy is that we get old too soon and wise too late.” If I can share some nuggets of wisdom I have acquired from mistakes I have made, and those morsels of wisdom help someone, I will consider my mission to be accomplished. One of the the most valuable truths I have discovered in life is that the answers to virtually every problem we ever face can be found in God’s word. Because of this, as you read my various posts and writings, you will find I often use passages of scripture from the Bible to reinforce the thoughts that I write. My interests include photography, travel, computers, and music of all types. I also am a big fan of famous quotes. You will often see me use famous quotes in my blog posts and I frequently will post quotes on my Twitter page.
My hope and prayer is that as you read my posts, you will find something that speaks to you in whatever situation in life you are in, and somewhere in the words that you read, you will find encouragement, strength, and the driving motivation to never give up on your dreams. In the words of Ralph Waldo Emerson, ” What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.”
If you find something in my writing that brings encouragement to you, I would love to hear from you. You can connect with me on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
